In partnership with affiliate ECO2 Systems Inc., AET conducted three environmental compliance audits for TransCanada Pipeline hazardous waste receivers. As part of their due diligence, TransCanada Pipeline contacted AET as an independent third-party consultant to audit three of their hazardous waste receivers in Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Kapuskasing Ontario. The scope of this project was to ensure that each waste receiver was in compliance with all environmental legislation, permits and certificates of approval relating to their operations. AET staff conducted a thorough review of documents from each company, including certificates of approval, permits, training records, and inspection logs. In addition to the document review, a detailed site tour was undertaken to verify that operations were being carried out in accordance with the terms outlined in the certificates of approval and all relevant legislation.
